This is a very nice plate of a Modocia typicalis and 3 Agnostid trilobites from the Cambrian of Utah. The Modocia is beautifully articulated and exhibits very fine detail. The free cheeks are intact and the sweeping genal spines are nicely displayed. The pleurons terminate in spines that become progressively longer as they near the pygidium. The Agnostids are complete and exhibit fine detail. The isopygous cephalon and pygidium are beautifully displayed on these blind, two-segmented trilobites. The dark, black color of these 4 trilobites contrasts wonderfully with the lighter matrix color. The trilobites are well centered on the rectangular plate of shale. This is a very fine plate of Middle Cambrian trilobites from Utah.
