Here is a wonderful plate of trilobites from the Middle Cambrian ''Red Beds'' of Utah. There are four large specimens of Elrathia kingi on this plate. All of these trilobites are natural to the plate - no compositing or addition of trilobites has been done to this specimen. Three of the Elrathia are well displayed - one is almost entirely covered by another trilobite. The brownish-red color of the trilobites contrasts beautifully with the squared plate of pinkish-tan matrix. This is a very nice multiple specimen of four large Elrathia trilobites from the Wheeler Shale.
