Here is a striking example of Cornuproetus cornutus from the Devonian of Morocco. This trilobite is extremely 3-dimensional and wonderfully articulated. The bug is quite prone and exhibits very fine detail. The long, sweeping genal spines are beautifully displayed, and the small, close-set eyes are easily seen. The natural black color of the bug contrasts beautifully with the grey matrix. The trilobite is well centered on the block of sculpted limestone. This is a very pretty specimen of Cornuproetus from the Atlas Mountains.
