This is a very nice multiple plate of trilobites from the Cambrian of Utah. There are about a dozen examples of Elrathia kingi and Peronopsis, in various growth stages, on the slab. The detailed trilobites are nicely articulated - many of the specimens have the free cheeks intact. The black bugs are very sharp in appearance and contrast beautifully with the grey matrix. The trilobites are well positioned on the large, unbroken plate of shale. And, best of all, this wonderful specimen has not been composited - all of these trilobites are original to the plate. This is a very prolific multiple plate of trilobites from the Wheeler Formation.
