This is a very nice example of Hollardops mesocristata from the Devonian of Morocco. This 3-dimensional trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits fine detail. The large cephalon is quite evident, the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined, and the large, toothed pygidium is well preserved. The trilobite has great natural color and contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. The bug is nicely showcased on the sculpted block of limestone. This is a very affordable specimen of this classic Moroccan trilobite.
