This is a fabulous specimen of Isabelinia glabrata from the Ordovician of Portugal. This large, sleek-looking trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits fine detail. The large eyes are clearly defined, and the long, slender genal spines are nicely displayed. The bug has outstanding color and contrast, and is well showcased on the large, rectangular plate of matrix. Many times, the trilobites from this area are on very small pieces of matrix and not very ''showy''. This is one of the most displayable examples of this trilobite that we have seen.
