Here is an attractive example of Barrandia homfrayi from the Ordovician of England. This type of trilobite has a very large glabella, obliquely truncated pleurons, and a semi-circular pygidium. This trilobite is nicely outstretched and somewhat inflated. The bug has both free cheeks intact, which is extremely rare. The trilobite is nicely showcased on the natural plate of shale. This is a very fine, complete specimen of Barrandia homfrayi from ''across the pond''.
