This is a very collectible trilobite. It is a large Isotelus maximus from Ohio. This type of trilobite is the State Fossil of Ohio. This specimen is tightly enrolled - the tail is perfectly tucked under the head. One of the LONG genal spines was prepared free-standing, making for a great display. And there is also another complete, enrolled Isotelus on the edge of the rock. This is a very rare double example of this classic US trilobite.
