This is a very rare Elrathia kingi from the Middle Cambrian of Utah. This HUGE trilobite is complete and nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The rare part is that the trilobite is preserved in a perfect concretion!. Elrathia are usually found in plates of shale - one in a concretion is almost unheard of! And not just any old one - a HUGE and perfect one! This is one of the most collectible and unusual Elrathia trilobites that we have ever seen.
