Here is a very unusual multiple plate of trilobites from the Ordovician deposits of Russia. This block of matrix displays a very large Pseudoasaphus and also a complete Metaptychopyge truncata. The Pseudoasaphus is very detailed, quite inflated, and almost four inches long! The Metaptychopyge is also prone and displays its small eyes beautifully. Both trilobites are a rich caramel color and contrast well with the sculpted matrix plate. This is a very displayable example of a rare trilobite association from the Ordovician of Russia.
