Here is a beautiful pair of trilobites that we recently acquired from an old collection. There are two excellent examples of Flexicalymene retrorsa on the slab. One trilobite is prone, one is enrolled - it is very unusual to have one of each on the plate. Both trilobites are extremely detailed and wonderfully articulated. The free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The ancient arthropods have great color and contrast and are well presented on the large plate of shale. This is a fabulous display specimen of Flexicalymene trilobites from Ohio.
