This is a rare multiple example of an unusual Ordovician trilobite from Morocco. These are Mucronaspis zagoraensis, a Dalmanitid-type trilobite. There are two complete and two partial specimens preserved on the plate. The trilobites display extremely long genal spines and a long caudal spine. These specimens are quite prone and wonderfully articulated. The long spines and large eyes of the trilobites are wonderfully exhibited. The natural, dark brown (almost black), color of the bugs contrasts beautifully with the lighter, orange-colored matrix. The trilobites are natural and well positioned, scattered about the sculpted block of dense limestone. This is a very collectible multiple specimen of this unusual Ordovician trilobite.
