This is a fabulous trilobite fossil. It is a very large, unidentified Asaphid trilobite from the Ordovician of Morocco. This type of trilobite is huge - over 8 inches long! This prone trilobite is EXTREMELY inflated and 3-D. The bug is wonderfully articulated and exhibits very good detail. The striking orange color of the trilobite is fully natural and contrasts beautifully with the brownish concretion. And the fossil even has the other half of the split pair concretion (the ''lid'') present. This is an amazing trilobite preserved three-dimensionally in a huge concretion that displays ''larger than life''.
