This is a wonderful example of a rare trilobite. It is an enrolled Phacops rana norwoodensis from Iowa. This specimen came directly from a major fossil collection. The trilobite is very inflated and 3-D. The bug has a beautiful green-brown colored exoskeleton and great detail preserved. The specimen is well displayed in the natural block of limestone - it has neven been fully extracted from the rock (never ''popped-out''). This is a rare complete, enrolled example of a hard-to-find US trilobite.
