Here is a very attractive specimen of Cheirurus (Crotalocephalina) gibbus from the Devonian of Morocco. This bug is very inflated and 3-dimensional and is well preserved in the ''crawling'' position. This large trilobite wonderfully articulated and exhibits very good detail. The small eyes are quite distinct, the triangular pleurons terminate in sharp points, and the pygidial spines are intact and clearly defined. The trilobite has beautiful, natural coloration and contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. The Crotalocephalina is well presented on the large block of sculpted limestone that also contains a nice Reedops sp. This is a very fine example of this odd-looking trilobite from Morocco.
