Here is a HUGE example of a Paralejurus trilobite. This is stunning Paralejurus tenuistriatus (Type 2) from the Devonian of Morocco. This trilobite differs from the Paralejurus hamlagdadicus in that it has genal spines and more distinct ribbing in the tail. This bug is just huge - three and three quarters inches long! The trilobite is nicely articulated and exhibits fine detail. The sharply-pointed pleurons are clearly defined, and the protruding eyes are easily seen. The fossil has excellent, natural color and contrast and is beautifully displayed on the sculpted block of limestone. This is a monster example of a Paralejurus tenuistriatus from Morocco - easily the largest one we have ever seen.
