This is an excellent example of a Triarthrus eatoni from New York State. This trilobite was found in the limestone layer, and is extremely inflated and 3-D. The bug has very nice detail preserved, including many of the axial spines and tiny tail, which is quite unusual. The fossil is nicely showcased on a semi-squared block of rock. This is a very fine example of this classic Upper Ordovician trilobite from New York.
