Here is a very rare pair of Cambrian trilobites. These are Marjumia typa from the Marjum Formation of Utah. This type is one of the most sought-after, and most elusive, of all the classic Utah trilobites. These wonderfully articulated specimens are complete, with both free cheeks intact and tight, which is extremely rare. The distinct spines on the pygidia are very easily seen. The dark brownish-black trilobite contrasts nicely with the greyish matrix. The bugs are beautifully prepared and well presented on the large, rectangular block of limestone. This is a very collectible multiple example of this rarely-seen trilobite from Utah.
