Here is a nice trilobite. This is a wonderful Elrathia kingi from the Cambrian of Utah. Although this species is one of the most prolific trilobites, this is an excellent specimen. The trilobite is complete and almost perfectly articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The black bug is quite detailed and contrasts nicely with the whitish-grey matrix. The fossil is well positioned on the natural plate of shale. This is a very distinct example of Elrathia kingi.
