This is a very nice specimen of Odontopleura (Sinespinaspis) markhami from the Lower Silurian of Australia. This type of trilobite has several rows of fine pustules on the thoracic segments, along with long pleural and pygidial spines. These features are beautifully displayed on this specimen. The distinct fossil has great detail preserved. The bug has striking color and good contrast and also has its split pair counterpart present, which is quite unusual. This is a fine example of this Odontopleurid trilobite from Down Under.
