Here is an unusual Devonian fossil. This is a fine Paciphacops logani from the Devonian of Oklahoma. This 3-dimensional trilobite is almost fully outstretched and nicely articulated. The trilobite exhibits fine detail - the individual facets of the eyes and the pustulose glabella are quite evident. The dark bug contrasts wonderfully with the buff-colored matrix and is well presented on the rectangular plate of limestone that also contains two different types of brachiopods. This is a very nice display block of a Devonian sea floor bottom.
