This is an unusual type of trilobite. It is a Modocia-type from Millard County, Utah. This specimen was found by Steve Hess in 1996 and just now prepared. This trilobite is complete with both free cheeks attached. The bug is well articulated and is nicely outstretched. The fossil is well centered on the rectangular plate of shale. This is a fine example of this puzzling type of trilobite from Utah.
