This is an unusual trilobite that we recently acquired from the DeRosear Collection. It is a large specimen of Brachyaspidion sulcatum from the Middle Cambrian of Utah. The trilobite is complete and very nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are intact and tightly attached. The specimen is somewhat 3-dimensional and exhibits fine detail. The trilobite is well positioned on the squared matrix plate. The trilobite has excellent color and good contrast. This is a very detailed specimen of this uncommon species of Brachyaspidion formerly of the DeRosear Collection (Number 3).
