This is simply one of the most beautiful Phacops trilobites ever prepared. It is a spectacular Phacops speculator from Morocco. This Phacops is not just beautiful, it is unbelievable. The rock matrix has been professionally extracted from around the trilobite, giving the appearance it is floating in mid-air! The large limestone base, too, has been expertly sculpted. The trilobite is super clean, and the compound eye facets are excellent. The detail is fabulous - each and every pustule is very easily seen. And the natural olive coloration is quite an eye opener.
