This is a textbook specimen of Parabolina spinulosa from the Upper Cambrian of Wales. This type of trilobite has pleural spines that increase in length toward the pygidium and even longer pygidial spines that are very slender in appearance - incredibly, these spines are beautifully displayed on this specimen. The overall quality of the bug is extremely fine - even the free cheeks and long, thin genal spines are intact. The trilobite is nicely showcased on the semi-rectangular plate of shale. This is an extremely collectible example of this Upper Cambrian trilobite from Europe.
