This is an unusual Oklahoma trilobite. It is a distinct Lonchodomas mcgeheei from the Ordovician Bromide Formation. This type is famous for one obvious reason - its long nose spine. This specimen has a long, needle-thin spine growing off the top of its head. This trilobite has nice butterscotch coloring on a cream-colored plate of limestone. And there is also a partial Lonchodomas on the plate. This bug was found by Steve Hess on September 4, 1997. This is a good example of this very sought-after trilobite from Oklahoma.
