This is a nice molted trilobite. It is a Flexicalymene granulosa from Swatara Gap, Pennsylvania. This site is now closed to collectors. This specimen shows a molted exoskeleton, with free cheek and hypostoma (mouthplate) intact. There are other Flexicalymene and Cryptolithus parts and partials on the plate. This is a good example of a molted trilobite.
