This is a very nice specimen of Kettneraspis williamsi from the Devonian of Oklahoma. This inflated trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits great detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The long, thin, sweeping genal spines and pleural spines are intact and beautifully showcased. Even the ''fringes'' on the free cheeks are easily seen. The bug is extremely well preserved in an outstretched position for optimal display. The ancient arthropod has excellent color and contrast and is well showcased on the large plate of sculpted matrix. This is an excellent specimen of this classic spiny trilobite from the Haragan Formation.
