Here is an interesting multiple plate from the Ordovician deposits of Russia. This block of matrix displays a nice Asaphus (Neoasaphus) kotlukovi and also an unusual Metaptychopyge truncata. The Asaphus is quite inflated and is a rich caramel color. The Metaptychopyge is very prone and is a lighter tan color. Both trilobites contrast well with the matrix, are very well preserved, and show excellent detail. This is a very displayable trilobite association piece from the Ordovician of Russia.
