This is a very nice multiple specimen of Illaenula vietnamica from the Devonian of China. These trilobites are very 3-dimensional and wonderfully preserved in an outstretched position. The fine detail of the trilobites is easily seen - the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined, and the almost-smooth cephalons and pygidiums are quite distinct. The orange-colored bugs contrast beautifully with the grey matrix. This is a very good multiple example of this unusual Devonian trilobite from China.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
