This is an uncommon trilobite. It is a fine Breviphillipsia sampsoni from the Mississippian of Missouri. As everyone knows, complete Carboniferous trilobites are quite rare. The bug is extremely inflated and very nicely preserved. The fossil has nice color and contrast and is almost perfectly centered on the rectangular matrix block. This is a great example of a trilobite from the ''Age of the Crinoids''.
