Here is an excellent Flexicalymene retrorsa from the Ordovician of Ohio. This complete trilobite is inflated and quite prone. The bug has very nice articulation and exhibits fine detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. This bug has wonderful, thick exoskeleton of a brownish color that contrasts very well with the light grey matrix. The fossil is beautifully centered on the sculpted plate of shale that also contains a partial Flexi. This is a very displayable specimen of Flexicalymene retrorsa from Ohio.
