Here is a very attractive trilobite. This is a Paralejurus hamlagdadicus from the Devonian of Morocco. This trilobite differs from the Paralejurus rehamnanus in lacking genal spines and having a more rounded cephalon. This bug is very inflated abd 3-dimensional and is well preserved in the ''crawling'' position. The trilobite is nicely articulated and exhibits fine detail. The sharply-pointed pleurons are clearly defined, and the protruding eyes are easily seen. The fossil has excellent, natural color and contrast and is beautifully displayed on the sculpted plate of limestone. This is a fabulous example of a Paralejurus hamlagdadicus from Morocco.
