This is a nice Middle Cambrian trilobite. It is a complete Modocia sp. from the Wheeler Shale. This specimen was found by Steve Hess in 1996, and just now prepared. The Modocia is nicely articulated with both free cheeks attached. The bug has very fine detail preserved. The trilobite is nicely showcased on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a very nice example of an uncommon Modocia trilobite from Utah.
