This is a classic US Trilobite. It is a complete Isotelus maximus from near Cincinnati, Ohio. This type of trilobite is the official State Fossil of Ohio. The trilobite is nicely outstretched and very well articulated. The bug has very long genal spines and distinct eyes. The trilobite displays well on the large, natural matrix plate. This is a good example of this famous Upper Ordovician trilobite from Ohio.
