Here is a rare Canadian trilobite. This is Ceraurinus marginatus from the Ordovician of Ontario. Ceraurinus are much rarer than Ceraurus from these layers. This trilobite is complete and nicely articulated - the cephalon, free cheeks, thorax, and pygidium are all present. The bug is inflated and exhibits very fine detail. The genal spines are nicely displayed, and the pygidial spines are of differing lengths and are all intact. The trilobite has very good color and contrast (much better than the photo shows) and is well presented on the squared block of matrix. This is a very distinct example of this highly uncommon trilobite from Canada.
