Here is an extremely rare trilobite. This is Marjumia callas from the Cambrian of Utah. This specimen was found by Steve Hess in 1996 and just now prepared. This trilobite is complete and nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached, which is very unusual. The bug is outstretched and exhibits fine detail. The short genal spines are easily seen and even the tips of the pleurons are clearly defined. The trilobite is nicely showcased on the natural plate of shale. This is a collectible example of a highly uncommon Marjumia callas from Utah.
