This is an Encrinurus-like trilobite that is now being called Coronocephalus rex. This specimen comes from the Lower Silurian of China. This 3-dimensional trilobite is almost perfectly prone and well articulated. The entire trilobite is covered with large pustules, especially the cephalic area. This bug has very good color and contrasts nicely with the light-colored matrix. It is wonderfully positioned on the somewhat squared piece of rock. This is an extremely fine example of Coronocephalus from China.
