This is a gorgeous trilobite specimen. It is a multiple plate of Onnia superba from the Ordovician of Morocco. This specimen was microscopically prepared in the EXTINCTIONS Prep Lab, as are all of our Moroccan trilobites. There are four examples of this Trinucleid trilobite on the slab. All four of the trilobites are wonderfully articulated and exhibit excellent detail. The pitted cephalic borders are quite distinct, and the thin genal spines are easily seen. The dark brown color of the trilobites contrasts superbly with the light-colored matrix. The bugs are beautifully showcased on the sculpted plate of limestone. And best of all, this slab is not composited - all of the trilobites are natural to the plate. This is an extremely attractive specimen of Onnia superba from Morocco.
