This is a great multiple example of a classic US trilobites. It is a large Homotelus bromidensis plate from the Ordovician of Oklahoma. This specimen was acquired from the famous Frank Crane Collection and reprepared in the EXTINCTIONS Prep Lab. The trilobites are 3-dimensionally preserved and exhibit fine detail. The protruding eyes are easily seen, and the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined - one bug even has its hypostoma (mouthplate) preserved and in living position! The trilobites have outstanding color and contrast and are nicely showcased on the natural plate of limestone. This is an excellent multiple specimen of Homotelus bromidensis that was probably in the Frank Crane Collection for twenty years.
