This is a large trilobite. It is a Basilicus from Russia. This is one of the more uncommon types of trilobites found in Russia. This specimen has very nice color and detail. The tail has a distinct "skin pattern" in the exoskeleton. And at four inches, it is a large bug. This is a nice, large, and unusual trilobite.
