This is a great example of a classic US trilobites. It is a large Homotelus bromidensis from the Ordovician of Oklahoma. This specimen was acquired from the famous Frank Crane Collection and reprepared in the EXTINCTIONS Prep Lab. The trilobite is 3-dimensionally preserved and exhibits fine detail. The protruding eyes are easily seen, and the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined. The bug has outstanding color and contrast and nicely showcased on the natural plate of limestone. This is an excellent single specimen of Homotelus bromidensis that was probably in the Frank Crane Collection for twenty years.
