Here is an extremely nice trilobite trace fossil. It is a trilobite trackway from the Mississippian of Indiana. This specimen has outstanding detail - you can easily see how the legs of the trilobite pushed up ridges of mud as the trilobite crawled along the sea floor bottom. The LONG trackway is well presented and easily seen on the natural plate of matrix that even has what could be trilobite Rusophycus on the back side! No trilobite collection is complete without a trilobite trackway of this quality.
