This is a classic US Trilobite. It is a complete Isotelus maximus from near Cincinnati, Ohio. This type of trilobite is the official State Fossil of Ohio. The trilobite is nicely outstretched and very well articulated. The bug has a long left genal spine and a short right genal spine, which is quite unusual. The trilobite displays well on the natural matrix plate. This is a good example of this famous Upper Ordovician trilobite from Ohio.
