This is an excellent example of a Triarthrus becki from New York State. This specimen was found by Steve Hess in 2003. The trilobite has very good detail preserved, including an intact row of axial spines. The trilobite is nicely centered on a natural 4.5'' X 4.5'' matrix plate. There is even a cephalon of another trilobite on the slab. This is a fine example of this classic Upper Ordovician trilobite from New York.
