Here is a very rare and beautiful specimen of Diacalymene ouzregui from the Ordovician of Morocco. This type of trilobite is usually found in a concretion. But only one trilobite per concretion - this specimen has two trilobites in the same concretion! And the amazing feature of this fossil is that both trilobites are awesome! Both bugs are complete, extremely 3-dimensional, and wonderfully articulated - MUCH better than most of the specimens from this site. All three pieces of the concretion are present, and they all fit together to form the rounded ''ball of rock'' concretion. The trilobites have beautiful natural color preserved, and the bugs contrast strikingly with the lighter-colored matrix. This is a nearly perfect DOUBLE example of Diacalymene ouzregui - one that would be very hard to upgrade.
