Here is a great example of Balcoracania dailyi from the Cambrian Beds of Australia. We recently acquired this trilobite from the DeRosear Collection. This specimen is very unique in that it has many, many segments. This type has one of the most segments of any trilobite ever found. This trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits fine detail. The LONG pleural spines on the fifth segment are beautifully displayed and easily seen. The trilobite has excellent, natural color and contrast. This is a wonderful specimen of this multi-segmented trilobite from Kangaroo Island.
