This is the rarest trilobite from the Middleport Quarry. It is a complete Decoroproetus corycoeus from the Rochester Shale. This specimen is complete, which is only one of a handful of this type ever found complete. The specimen is also nicely outstretched and well articulated, which is also extremely rare. The bug is beautifully showcased near the center of a squared plate of shale. This is easily the best example of this hard-to-find Silurian trilobite we have ever had.
