This is a nice grouping of rare US trilobites. These are Ditomopyge olsoni from Indiana. These bugs are from the Pennsylvanian Period - most trilobites were extinct by the Pennsylvanian. There are three trilobites preserved on the plate, although only two are pictured here. The trilobites are outstretched and have the free cheeks preserved. The bugs are well articulated and display good detail. The trilobites are nicely spaced on the semi-rectangular plate of limestone. This is a very collectible multiple plate of Pennsylvanian trilobites.
