This is a very displayable plate of trilobites from the Cambrian of Utah. There are over a dozen examples of Elrathia kingi, in various growth stages, on the slab. There is also at least one example of Bolaspidella housensis. The detailed trilobites are nicely articulated - most of the specimens have the free cheeks intact. The black bugs are very sharp in appearance and contrast beautifully with the gray matrix. They are well positioned on the large, unbroken plate of shale. And, best of all, this wonderful specimen has not been composited - all of these trilobites are original to the plate. This is a very aesthetic multiple plate of trilobites from the Wheeler Formation.
